For six months I was based in Dubai, travelling and painting in and around Oman and Bahrain producing paintings with texture, as well as some abstract impressionism of Dubai.
The contrast of hot days and cold nights inspired the colours and forms that emerged in my paintings, ranging from small canvases to large scale works inspired by the diversity between the modernism of the cities and the wide, open deserts.
